My growing BOY!!!

My darling boy is growing taller and taller!

He is 32mth old big now! A big boy that has a lot of vocabulary coming out from his mouth. A lot of actions. He can speak in sentences, ask for things, tell us what he wants.

I think there is a long time that he did not lie on the stroller, instead he only sits on it. He is sleeping soundly when we get off the car and of course, he will have to sleep on the stroller, the moment I put him on the stroller, his body length is SO LONG... that I realise that he is growing a lot!!!

Time passed so fast, in a blink of an eye... from the day he is conceive inside me till today... everything just happened like it was just yesterday. So fast the kids are growing up!!!!

Things just happened so fast even before we realise. Treasure the every moments of their growing up!

Viral fever

Is kids sick season?

How come both of them having fever at the same time? oh gosh!!!

Qiqi had her fever when she woke up from her nap. Renkai also!!! What happen? Why so sudden? Luckily left Qiqi with mummy, she can take care of her while I went to my cake class. And Renkai stayed in sembawang for the night which is not a good choice!

Suddenly his fever is high till 39deg and dear dear have to rush there to take care of him! Why don't bring him back to rest? When we can take care of him and not to worry for him?

Lesson learned!!!

Never leave a sick child at other's care! Must take care of the sick child by yourself to set your mind at ease.

Fever going on since sat noon... sunday... monday morning slight fever and went to see PD chuang! Luckily the fever subsided on Monday morning for both! If not is going to be headache for us, is really worrying when kids are not well.

Menses finally came....

5days to reach 9mths... my menses finally make her grand entrance!

From the last menses starting on 21st Dec 2009....546days have passed... I am pad-less for so so so long... and the pad-less days are gone! Going back to the paddy days...

I thought breastfeeding will not have menses? And maybe my supply is now way too low... That is why... I can't reach my 1 yr mark! Still have 3 mths away, with this super low supply. I can never hit breast feed for 1 yr! OH MY... I will miss this feeling...

Is such relaxing time... when qi qi is sucking... i can actually fall into sleep. Deep sleep... the suction induce nice rest. Every night whenever I am latching her, I can fall back to sleep very fast and not sure if she has eaten fully? Only when I see her sleeping nearby and my clothes are not back to normal, I think she must have enjoyed her meals while resting.

No need to hold the bottles and can suck till sleep... so nice right? But qi qi... mummy's milk is going to stop by itself soon... I doubt I can let it supply till you are 1. Anyway, mummy will try to ok?! And you have to do your part, create the suction and let the brain knows that you need mummy, can?

Full time job

After graduate, need to find a job and that is called full time job.

Until now then I realise....

My FULL TIME JOB is actually being a MOTHER!!!

Working in Dynacast is only my part time job, to "escape away" from the house for 8hours. The moment I step back into our sweet home, my full time role starts!

24/7 on standby! with no income some more.... Not even a little allowance...

Part time job pays me well! Every month sure deposit into my bank AUTOMATICALLY and on time! Sometime still have extra OT pay! :D

Part time job allows me to spend my own money too!

Full time? hai... nothing, nothing, nothing... no money... only have unmeasurable happiness from the kids! Of course, with some "unhappiness" involve too!

Stubborn boy

Looks like this naughty boy has my special character! OMG!!!

When he is angry, he simply keep his mouth shut, he don't want to talk. Just like me!!! Is it when I am pregnant with him inside me, dear dear always make me angry that I don't want to talk to him. Then in this way, boy inhert my character?

He wanted honey, so I make for him. When I pass him the bottle, he don't want and not sure what he wants, I simply tell him to go to bed and sleep. *off lights*

In the dark kitchen, he lower his head, kept quiet. I talk to him, ask him to go to sleep. He kept quiet and ignore me. In spite of anger, I left him alone and went to the room. *peeping him from the side of the wall* He was lying on the floor with face down on floor.

I went to him again. "boy go to sleep". Still ignoring me. I carry him up and he pushed me away. I asked him, "you don't want mummy?" He pushed me again. I asked him again, "You really don't want mummy?" Still he pushed me away!

Wow... This boy's temper is not that easy! Only 30mth big, have such determination!

In the end, he told me he wanted to she-she, then I helped him take off his pants and diapers. After he finishes his peeing, gladly he took the honey drink and went to bed with me.

Another milestone achieve!

7 sit, 8 crawl, 9 grow teeth.

At 6mth, grow two lower central incisors.

At 7mth, starts to glide - crawl.

At 7mth 1 week, two upper lateral incisor, quite worry that is canine cos the gap is real huge! Maybe can grow 4 teeth gap.

At 8mth, two upper central incisors coming out! What a big front teeth!!!

At 8mth 2 weeks, qiqi knows how to sit up from gliding stage!!!

Jun holidays!!! Is time for shows in shopping malls!

hahahaha...

Today we went to Marina Square to catch Barney, BJ and Baby Bop with Yujia! I can't imagine that people start queuing up at 2pm! The queue was so long!!! Still did not manage to get in but able to "walk" till the entrance gate! wahahaha... too bad... Renkai is not quite awake, he did not really enjoy the show but was crying now and then. hai... But Yujia actually enjoyed the show!!! She was dancing along with the music!

Is really tiring to bring kids out to shopping!!! Thought of walking around after the show cos been cropping up at home for way too long time! hai.... still is a torture to shop with young kids. We rather go home than to walk around. hahahaha.... GO HOME LOH!!!!

Before we went to take the car, had a wonderful 37 storey lift ride to hai tian lou! hahahaha... FUN!

Finally I got to learn from the correct place!

Hai... I should learn from this correct place from the start and instead of going here and there. Directly learn from BITC, is cheap and surely teacher will teach all they know! And they will give many correct recipes! hehehe...

Actually I should start from this place last year, but they know that I am preg so I am not allowed to sign up. Have to wait till now... But at least I have started what I wanted! Should perfect my skills now and impart my knowledge to renkai and ziqi when they grow up and they could have a skill in the future.

Next step will be teaching at home with my new knowledge! The most important thing to do now is to perfect my skills, perfect my every recipes!!! And new equipments if there is chance! :D

My new career!!! Is good that interest can be turned into career! BRAVO!!!

4th wedding anniversary

4yrs...

These 4yrs we have another addition in our family of 3!!!

Our baby, Christy Chuang Zi Qi!!!

The 1st year, we went Rasa Sentosa for a stay to celebrate, that time I was 3th mth preg with Renkai showing a bit of tummy...

2nd year, we went back to Rasa Sentosa again! This time with mama, linghui, wenwei and a 6mth big renkai!!!

3rd year, not able to went to Rasa this year as it is closed for renovations. We went to eat Korean food plus some HK desserts for a little celebrations.

4th year celebrations?

There is no happy memories.... dear dear actually FORGOTTEN all about it.... :(

I even sat beside him the whole evening, the clock keeps ticking away... TINK!!! The clock strike 12am, 1st Jun came... he really forgotten...

Upper canines

Little babe is teething again! This time round is the upper teeth but teeth is pooping out in not correct order! :(

By right, should be the upper centre incisors coming out first. Instead the upper canines came out first, not one but two!!! Poor baby, she must be feeling very painful, always making noise and bitting her sophie.

Happy growing my princess!!! Today marks your 6-mth birthday and also marks my unbelieveable achieveable task!!!! I actually breastfeed you for a full 6 months! Oh gosh.... Thinking back when during the 1st mth, I experienced blocked ducts, engorements, painful hard rock breast, giddy throbbing headaches, pains and pains and pains. I almost gave up in that one month! But after Prof Ong says that I better breastfeed you for min 3mths, that is good for you. OK!!! Set my mind to achieve that 3 mths! Task accomplished! 3 mths... And still going on strong but supply is limited... But still able to feed you till full full. And today!!!! Marks your growing up and my acheivement! 6mths of breastfeeding!!!! Yeah! Mummy did it!!!

HFMD day 7

2am and about 5am, he woke up for milk. Kept crying after milk and kept "digging" his belly button. Can't let him dig further, took away his hands and apply ru yi oil, then the next moment, he was soundly asleep till morning...

Early in the morning, 8am+, I was woke up by boy. He don't want me to sleep further but I am very tired, he "drag" me out from bed and of cos I have to get up. Upon returning to the bedroom, aiyo... he has already put his pillow and mine on the bed, leaving the mattress empty on the floor and now is the time to move the mattress to the bed. hahahaha... So the purpose of him to wake me up is to tidy the room!!! OH MY... He is really my morning housekeeper.

We went for review today but he is still playing with his tongue this morning. Dr Ling certified that he has recovered from HFMD. I told Dr Ling about boy playing with his tongue and there is one new ulcer at the tip of his tongue which Dr Ling says is ok, next monday can go back to school. Is time to disinfect the whole house!!! Or maybe a early spring cleaning for the CNY? hahaha.... too early right?

I need to go to Toa Payoh and collect my milkbags! :) So on the way, I send Sharon to her facial and also pick up LH. So while waiting boy and I went to buy KOI, yeah... Can settle my cravings! I even bought two new pair of shoes for myself. Those shoes I have at home, I think can discard already, maybe they are already in the state of self-destruction since for so long I have never wear them and shoes if you don't wear them often, they will damage by itself. While buying those shoes... mmm... the last time I bought new clothes is almost 2yrs back when I finish my confinement after giving birth to boy. mmm... how about shoes? When is the last time I bought new shoes??? Can't remember as I always wear the same old slipper.

SO IS TIME TO REALLY DRESS UP MYSELF!!! If not, will become yellow-faced-woman!

Went to "pie-pie" (how to spell? pie-pie the sailor man), LH bought a set meal and when boy saw the paper cup, he knew inside contains nice icy cold yummy drinks.

(Using his sweetest eye contact), he told me "PLEASE" with his hands holding together in crunches and shaking!!! OH MY!!!! He is SO SWEET!!! He knows how to ask for things that he want. Seeing him asking till like this, ok... my heart melts... Gave him ONE STRAW of yummy fanta grape. Only ONE STRAW and there goes the cup. *puff* No more! hahahaha....

In memory of Lawrence

Early morning 8am+, sms came in....

It was Elaine, the news she broke to me was, Lawrence passed away this morning. I was like, ah! What happened?!

Just last week, I met up with Lynn and heard her saying that he is sick but no details and today... he is gone just like this? What actually happen?

Went to the wake today, he died at home in his bedroom while sleeping beside Doris. She could not take the fact that he is gone just like this. Is too sudden, from the day he went for checkup after complaining of pain till the report came out on 19th Sept... is only 17days and he is gone... Is liver cancer, even doctor say nothing can be done. Even is there is a suitable transplant is also no use, is too late already.

Seeing Doris so sad, my heart felt sad too. She told stephanie and me that how they do things together, how he gives her advices, everything they do together, even they go out they also went out together and so suddenly this morning he left her. He is still so young, only 45yrs old. Leaving behind two kids 14 and 8.

Life is so fragile....

HFMD day 6

5am+, he woke up for milk. Slept till 8am+ then maybe my handphone sms noise disturb him.

Breakfast, we had bread and honey star cereals. The moment I let him feed himself I need to clean up the whole area. Is either the milk is dripping on his clothes or on the table, if not is his tiny fingers dip into the milk and grab the stars and put inside his mouth. hahahaha.... Messy boy!!!

Lunch, we had soba together. I have to feed him!!! Can't let him mess up the place if not I will have to clean up again. aiyo... I wonder how he ate in school? Maybe they have a plastic apron to wear before they eat and all the mess will not dirty his clothes. hahahaha...

We went out to Meiji factory to buy meiji snacks!!! hahahaha... Our first outing since last sat's confinement. I must be very careful not to let anyone get near to him. Later bringing him to sbw, I have to attend a wake in Hougang. Luckily pa and ma at home to help me look after him for a few hours.

When we are back home, he is taking out all the titbits that I have bought from Meiji. He took (with both his hands) the chocolate Yan Yan and tell me "please" with a bai bai action - hands moving in and away from his body. hahahaha... So you want to eat is it? Cannot boy, this is xiaoyi's titbits. I quickly kept all the titbits in case his loud speaker start again.

Time to move out for our next destination.

When we reach sbw, he seems reluctant to go with his ah gong and ah ma but after a while he is fine and when I went back to collect him. Pa says that he is very cheerful! Really jumping up and down, climbing here and there, making a lot of happy noise. Unlike those grumpy days that he was there at their house. hehehehe... Maybe mei mei is not at home? No one to share the love with him? Everything is his! hahahaha....

He even drag me from the living room (telling me "sleep") to the bedroom, he wants to sleep already so we have to hurry home. Can't let him stay overnight cos tomorrow morning he will have to go to the doc for review to see if he has recovered? On the way back home, he felt asleep and luckily when I put him to bed, he is still sleeping.

Sweet dreams boy. Night night...

P/S: Oh yes, the mickey mouse pen is yours right? Somehow he "manage" to separate mickey from the pen and tell me "pai". hahahaha.... Can teach the correct word? Spoil

HFMD day 5

I wonder is boy pantang? I tell his papa, he is good boy, sleeps well, this time he cry cry cry.

2am, he woke up crying, trying to make him stop by giving milk but he ignore the milk bottle until I have to "force" the teats inside his mouth then he stop and drink the milk and sleep again.

7am, again he cry... :( Well have to give milk again. Then is cartoon time!!! hahahaha...

Well, today he is good and naughty.

Good as in he played by his own, climb here and there, up and down. Using the long cushion and "mop" under the dinning table by crawling round and round.

When I am in the kitchen, he climbed up the glass coffee table and looked at me to see if I have found out. Hahahaha... Too bad, when I turn my face over, I saw him peeking at me, so he have no choice but to come down from the table when my command is made.

About 3pm already, he still don't want to nap. From 7am till now, no choice but to force him to bed. Same loh, he cry cry cry, cry himself to sleep. But at least this crying is the hmmp hmmp kind not those yelling cries. We sleep from 3pm till 5.45pm!!! Aiyo... so long we have slept!

Suddenly I felt his presence, he is not sleeping, so I don't want to wake up first to see if he gets back to sleep. He is watching me, sitting on his bed while I continue my beauty rest. Luckily I "wake up" to look at my hp, WHAT!!! is already 5.45pm!!! Need to make dinner for him, but what to eat? Soba again? Before we walked out of the bedroom, he is talking to me which I don't understand. So his actions to me is to remove the mattress. I thought he wanted to open the cupboard door so I folded half of my mattress and push to the wall. He wanted me to remove his mattress too! AH HA!!! He means wake up already must keep away the mattress!!!!

Oh boy... You are so obedient!!! I don't clear my bed when I wake up, looks like I have to be a good example to him! To think that he can learn lots of things and be independent when going to childcare but again on the other hand, the health is another headache issue.

No dinner made but he ate breads, apple, drink breastmilk. This afternoon's porridge with fried egg and ba hu, he only finishes off the fried egg and not the porridge.

He is playful too! Putting his mouth on my thighs and buu buu... Making my thighs so itchy and his mouth too! This he can laugh and laugh and laugh! The way he laughs, oh... is so innocent! He is simply SO HAPPY!!! After the buu-ing, his saliva is on my thighs and he even wiped it off with tissue when the tissue I gave to him is meant for his mouth.

These few days he is such a cheerful boy! I wonder when mei mei is back, will he still be this cheerful when I have to divide my attention to both? Or when papa is back home, I have to scold him again for being naughty? Thinking back, I seldom see him laughing so happily. I think these few days he is really enjoying himself with me alone. :)

HFMD day 4

Boy woke up for milk at 1am and 5am. He can sleep throughout peacefully, at least he can get his handsome rest.

He woke up at 7.30am and went out for a walk in the house then coming back to the bed. I can't get up, my eyes are still reluctant to open till about 8am.

His daily routine is still his cartoons. The TV has been on for the whole morning and the disc has been playing and playing and playing. Until 2pm the TV set can have it's own rest "for a while". The TV start to work again from 3pm+ till 11pm.

Lunch, again I cooked myself Korean mee (another favour), sharing with him.

Dinner time, must make something decent for him since he don't want the plain 面线 and the cooked cereals. AH HA!!! SOBA!!! Boy, mummy today treat you Japanese food! heheheh... Ok, he loves it and can even finishes what I have made for him.

Whole day food is the same, plain white bread, boiled apple, formula milk, breast milk. Today's special is soba and banana!

A very good boy today, he's cheerful too! Jumping up and down, crawling on the floor, climbing on the glass coffee table, laughing loudly watching baby crawling (Tom and Jerry disc 9), always play with me, want me to piggyback him, pull my hairband and in the end pull my hair!

A very sweet action of him - he came to hug me when I am on the floor using computer. He just hug me and his head is on my shoulder. Oh my... so long he never hug me (not even he want to go to bed)! I think ever since he is "naughty" maybe that he knows Ziqi is coming so "suddenly" he is behaving cranky. wow... I think that was about 2months back.

When Sharon passed me the bread that she bought for us, I gave boy half and he ate it. He wanted more so I gave him the other half. He ate the bread as if he never eaten the whole day, he looks like so hungry, seeing him eating like this is so heartache. But I have given him so much things to eat already. Or maybe the bread is delicious? hahahaha... (maybe I should start learning how to make bread... mmm...)

After finishing the bread, (sitting on the floor in between the sofa and coffee table) he was knocking the plastic bowl against the white drawer, never notice that I am watching him. When he saw me watching him silently, he gave me a sweet shy smile. OH MY... SO CUTE!!!! My boy is so adorable and obedient. How nice if he can always be like this cheerful!

He wanted more, I gave him another half. After finishing the bread, he picked up his smelly and say "night night" to me!!!! Oh gosh... Boy, you surprise mummy!!! You want to sleep? You no need mummy make milk for you? Every time we are like "directing" you to bed and today you want to go to bed yourself? oh my... Sweet action of yours. (But still mummy have to make milk for you.) While taking out the breast milk from fridge, he walked out of the room, seeing me heating up the milk, he screamed. hahahaha... He wanted the milk fast! Gave him the milk, I thought he will fall asleep after drinking. Instead of sleeping, he came out to give me his empty bottle and we went to bed together. No need much patting, he is fast soundly asleep...

HFMD day 3

1am+, he woke up for milk, not much crying though. The whole night is peaceful, he is not cranky.

7am, he woke up for milk. Made him some and went off to produce my milk. After drinking the formula milk, he still can finished up my 120ml breast milk. Really hope breast milk can do wonders to his condition.

Today don't know why he is very cranky, not like yesterday. He is crying very often and clinging on to me. I am very tired from carrying him, he is growing bigger and of course the weight has also increase that I have no strength to carry him for long.

Lunch time, I cooked 面线for him, he don't want. hahahaha... Maybe is not nice that he rejected my cooking, I think is not nice too. I cooked myself Korean instant noodle. hahahaha... This naughty boy wanted my noodles! Ok, fed him some.

Dinner time, I made some cooked cereals for him but he don't want too. hai... No choice, today's meal is only formula milk, breast milk and plain white bread.

HFMD day 2

This early morning, boy woke up at 2am+, gave him milk but he did not finish, maybe only drank 30ml then he slept. 5am+, he woke up crying, screaming, I can't make him quiet, he must be feeling very painful. By the time he is quiet is almost 6am, he can't sleep and requested to watch his cds.

Ok then, we will watch it together. Mickey mouse, Tom and Jerry. Watching it over and over again...

He manage to catch a nap in the afternoon, suddenly woke up from sleep and cries pain pain. Then he is still crying and screaming and struggling. After quiet down, so far he is alright, doesn't make any noise. The only time he cries out is when he swallow food he felt pain. I really hate the time that he sleep and wakes up in pain.

Hope the pain can go off soon...

This morning when I woke up, I felt boy's head feverish. Next I saw him playing with his tongue, never thought that he will catch the HFMD virus.

Gave him fever medicine, he was fine and cancel the morning doc appointment. Made another appointment in the afternoon with Dr Ling.

When we are inside the consulation room, I told Dr Ling that his childcare got kid got HFMD, I wonder did boy got the virus as he is playing with his tongue this morning. He shone the torchlight in. Oh gosh... My most fear had happened!

Boy caught the HFMD virus!!!!

Quick must get Ziqi out from the house! Called mami but she did not take her handphone, luckily LH is at home, she went over to ask mami packed up and shift Ziqi to their house. Hopefully Ziqi got the immunity from my breastmilk.

Boy did not drink anything or eat anything. Bought him raspberry ice cream!!! Officially approved by doctor! Anything that he eat must be cold. They can't take anything hot is too painful and not comfortable for them so they will not swallow it down. So no choice, I remember can give ice cream as ice cream is made from milk solid so bought him a cup of ice cream to fill his empty tummy first.

On the way back home, we went to buy Ribena and one tub of ice cream! In case, he don't want medicine can coax him with the Ribena and in case he can't drink milk, he can eat the ice cream. On the other hand, I worry too cold he will get cough.... hai...

Can't feed Ziqi from today onwards... What is going to happen to my breast milk? Maybe give boy drink, hopefully he can have some antibodies from my breast milk to fight with the virus.

Blocked ducts

This is not fun at all. The blocked ducts is making me painful and heavy and it affects my head too. Been feeling giddy suddenly...

Yesterday, I called the nurse of Gleneagles to ask for help, sister Christine's advice does help me to relieve the pain.

Basically is to warm the nipple and aerola, massage them, massage breast. If there is white spot on the nips, then is like pimple, need to clear it by pricking with needle. But best way, is to latch Christy. Only her sucking can clear the blocked ducts very fast.

4.30am,
I can't tolerate the engorge pain on lefty, my head is spinning with all my movements. Very very terrible. I need to pump out the milk again.

Thanks to dear dear, he accompanied me, surfing online to find out more on blocked ducts and massage my breast for me to soften the hardness, pump out more again to loosen the milk space. Everything lasted till 6am... before we went to bed again.

Phew... I think the blocked ducts are cleared... Till now the engorge feeling is no longer there. I don't like this blocked ducts feeling.

How am I going to survive without Christy if we are going to Japan without her latching on me? Will I have to stop production? Or I can still continue to pump religiously during the trip without facing any issue? Oh no... I don't want to stop production so fast...

Milk time for Christy

Christy's milk time is not standard like Cavin. Cavin's timing is very sharp, 4hrs. But Christy's? Till now, 14days already, she can range from 1hr-6hrs for her milk.

During the daytime, once she finishes her milk she will sleep till the next feed then wake up, minimum 2.5hrs of free time for me. She is drinking about 100ml of milk now. Her pattern to keep her eyes open for the longest time is during the evening time. After her night bath, she doesn't get her beauty sleep after her feed, can keep her eyes open, looking around, after 1 or 2hrs she will make noise for her milk again. She will only fall asleep maybe about 10pm (if earlier is bonus free time for me) then wake up again once during the night for feed.

Phew... with this timing, I can rest more at night and not becoming a panda. (but I am still a panda cos I always rub my eyes and the eyes will become black black) hahahahaha...

She is such a good baby can sleep till morning after her last feed. Unlike her brother, last time Cavin will cry at midnight or 1am or 2am and that can continue for hours before getting back to sleep. This is torture to mami that time when she is sleeping over with me.

From birth till now (and always)....

Mother and daughter pact

Before Christy is born, every night before I sleep I will talk to her.

"bb, papa is going to Swiss from 13th till 23rd, if you want to come out have to wait for papa to be back. Mama's last working day is 24th, let mama finish my work first then you come out ok? So after 25th you can come out."

Since I am not well on 23rd already and dear dear already cancel his Swiss trip so I went back to finish my work on 23rd and true enough Christy knows that I have finish my work so she came out on 24th!

In the labour ward,
"bb ah, these two days mama never eat anything you faster come out ok?"

True enough, Christy hears what I says and she come out REAL FAST!!! Less than 1hr in labour ward, she is welcomed by Dr Fong, two nurses, papa and mama!

This is the pact that we both have, is amazing right? This is just bonding between us start from the day she can hear me talking to her.

This time round, breastfeeding is easy. Mama never complain or scold me, maybe sanyi talk to her earlier? hehehe... (Since I have commented to Sanyi before that mama scold me way before I start to pop bb out. Actually is when mama saw my medela milk bottles.)

I started breastfeeding when Christy is out in the labour ward, while waiting for them to transfer me into the normal ward, I fed Christy since dear dear says her mouth has been moving and moving and moving, so she must be hungry. I know I have no milk supply now, but can trigger colostrum for her. Then I latch her to "activate" the breast to work.

These few days of latching is easy, seldom need to pump out milk. But thinking of always latching and never feed her though milk bottle will have problem next time. What if she rejects milk bottle and don't allow to be feed by others? Then she will go hungry, better stop her daily latching, has been 9days already.

Today is the 10th day. I have to store frozen breastmilk for her when we are off for our Japan trip. Slowly day by day, I have to pump out the milk for storage. Dear dear says, Christy is a good baby, till now she has not even start her milk powder, save money for papa. hahahaha...

Last night, I saw her determination. Not sure if I use pump and pump out milk, my nipples start to become different for her to suck? She had a hard time trying her very best to latch herself on my both nipples. Left side cannot. Right side also cannot. But she never cry too hard, she never frustrate too easy, she tried and tried and tried. Cannot, latch again. Still cannot, try to latch once more. I can see that she is a never give up baby! Her fight with my nipples lasted for 20mins then finally she got the right position to suck them tight. 6am then she got her reward.

Looks like my nipple is giving her too much problems, she still can't latch well during the day, is the pumping making my nipples too big that she can't latch on? Oh no... if this is the case, then I have to pump out every now and then, even engorement I can't pump out effectively. Christy is still my BEST PUMPING pal!

Is never easy with this kind of heat! I wanted so much to on the fan to high speed, wanted to on the air-con. Seeing Christy is all wrapped up in cloth and she don't shift herself much, even she is hot she still needs me to shift her to another position. Why are we adults complaining? Just because baby can't complain now then they accept whatever condition they have now?

Should learn from Christy, endure!

Endurance! Is only one month of lying down on bed what?! What can be so difficult when it comes to sleeping? heheheh...

Gastric pain on the top of tummy before I wake up. How come??? I have no such pain before. Been to the toilet twice, ate bread before going out to work but seems like I can't make it to work. Better go see doctor and take MC. I had a bread before going out. Sent boi to school and I went to see doc. Vomitted my bread and water out while waiting for my medicine. Luckily dear dear came back to see if I am fine. Went back home to rest, mama cooked noodles for me but I still vomitted out with water and wanted to see Dr Fong in the afternoon but he is not in. His nurse taught me to drink rice water and canned pineapple juice ONLY. Whole day only drink liquid diet.

23rd Sept 2010
Today MC again, for two days... Still vomit and no food intake. Dr Fong gave me two days MC so I went back to Dr Koo for two days MC and return to office to clear my work. I was too hungry and ate biscuits. Really can't have other food in my tummy, I still puke out some biscuit contents. Went back to mama there for lunch and still puke out cos of the biscuit is still turning inside. Went home to rest after vomit out.

6.30pm
Gal gal came dashing to me suddenly and scratch my left thigh. Maybe she sense something is going to happen soon so she is asking me to bathe her fast. True enough!!! I experience pain!!! Never had I have this pain before! Bath first then go to mama there for dinner. Still feel pain. Told mama, LH and Ting about my pain. Mama asked me, did I wash my hair? hahahaha... No. So I find an excuse to go back first and wash my hair. Time my contractions from 8pm onwards.

8pm - 11.48pm
Contractions iss 15min once. Finally endure the pain till 11.48pm then tell dear dear I have tummy pain. Cannot tell him early if not he sure admit me into hospital. Dear dear contacted the emergency line and Dr Fong called me back, I told him my contraction is 15min once, so he asked me to go into hospital now.

Dear dear went to take his car, as usual I went to changed and waited for him downstairs. The journey to hospital was fast and "bumpy" along holland and my tummy start to contract the pain is aiyo...

Reach the lobby of Gleneagles, took photos while dear dear registers me.

Getting ready, lying on labour bed. Check for dilation, 5cm already. Contractions 5min once. Had jab at right thigh and standby laughing gas. Check dilation again, 7cm. Heard nurse called Dr Fong to come. hahaha... He still at home oh. The moment Dr Fong reach, real action starts! Princess is COMING!!! Push push... Head is out! Dr Fong told me not to push further, when he is ready then I push. Ok, push twice!!! POP!!!!

Today... this is the day... Start of the firm movements! Yeah!

I can feel bb's firm movement as in... I can feel her moving left and right and there is bump-popping-out-kind-of-movement. Not like those fluffy light moves, is firm movement! And she also gives me a few tight squeeze. hahahaha... Is Braxton Hicks! Not too much squeeze from you now oh. :)

Too many first time today! :) Simply bring SMILES to my face. :D

First time driving alone to Sembawang with Cavin, he was such a darling, was quiet throughout the journey and not causing any trouble for me.

First time I see him throwing his temper! hahahaha... So funny! After finishing his porridge, i treat him to the peach that ma gave me. While handing the slice of peach to him, I saw the top portion was a bit too ripe and I bite off that portion. He was "angry" and walked away! hahahaha... I thought why he went into your room, when pa and I followed in, he was facing the orange wall. Like "sad"... when we walked into your room, he moved into the small corner of the bed. I told him ga-ga-ah... ga-ga... Then he walked out of the small corner and lie onto the floor, as usual, throwing his temper. Next minute, I start my counting!!! 1... 2... He started CRYING!!! So pitiful.... hahahaha... Pa then immediately picked him up. Smart to show his tears at the correct place right?! hahahahaha....

Lunch we ate outside, at the Causeway point. As usual loh... After lunch, he is treated to a ride! I think this is his everytime treat when he goes out with ah gong and ah ma.

Too tired.... Never sleep in the morning and till now... he simply falls asleep when eating his snacks... hahahhaa.... NO WAY to keep his eyes open till we reach. Changed car and both of us are on our way back home. On the way back is also peaceful cos he is sleeping all the way! :D

First time he uses his potty with signal! I saw him peeling off his diapers sticker! Oh boy!!! No... Don't take out your diapers. Oops... You smells.... (One poo is already in the diapers) Oh, you wanna poo poo, is it? Wait ok, mami go and take your potty. *Hanging on for the poo to be out* While he is sitting on his potty, I am surfing net. A very short while... Finishes the business and wanna get up! hahahaha.... Mission accomplished! (Two "huge" output)

First time he is feeding Pooh bear!!! Trying to experience how to feed bb first! hehehehe.... Good boy lah! :D (When he sees my camera, he wanna stop what he is doing and luckily I can still manage to take one nice shot of his kind gesture!)

First time san yi is bring us to feed fishes in Japanese Garden! Everytime papa will bring him to the Chinese Garden with kor kors...

3rd year... wedding anniversary

1st year... where we celebrate? mmm... at sentosa! We booked a room, that time I was preggy with Cavin in my tummy... we had dinner at the not so nice Sakae sushi branch, walked back to hotel and had a drink at the lounge and you choose a song about "something moon" for me. hehehehe... right?

2nd year... Same!!! We also booked a room! But is going with mama, cavin! Lh and ww came to stay overnight and the next day, jie, le, jing, da jie, Ting and Francis joined us at the beach! Last year's celebrations is with so many people! hahahaha....

This year... 3rd year... We have ourselves to each other! No hotel stay cos Rasa Sentosa closed for renovations. So leaving Cavin with mama, we enjoyed our dinner date before heading back to pick him up. With kids, there isn't much precious time outside. hahahaha....

Is so salty and delicious! Next time must bring container to take away the soup! hehehe... Mami's laksa is so different from what we have here. Less coconut taste but also delicious! :D

Wow... A sudden strong kick that I can feel from bb. So powerful that I "ouch" but I am also trying to catch hold of cavin too. He is not on me yet and I feel the kick. Oh... First time, bb is having such a strong reaction. hehehehe...

Is bb boy boy or girl girl? Really excited... So many myth predictions shows boy, like rice prediction, nipple prediction, chinese calendar prediction, all shows boy. Even looks of Cavin is so much like a BOY! So is bb a boy?

But seems like the tummy shape, belly button and the low tummy shows girl.

mmm... be it boy or girl, is OUR BB!!! :D

For so many weeks, I can only feel bb's movement when my hand is on my tummy. Just a tiny tiny movement and is gone. And sometimes one big lump popped out, harden, then relax... hehehehe... What is bb doing inside that cause the lump? hahahaha....

Mid of week 19 already, sometime at work I can feel the VERY slight fluffy movement on the tummy. hehehehe... When will I really feel the solid movements? Little Cavin moves solidly when he is week 19.

Training to stop milk

Have to train little Cavin to stop his milk cravings in the wee hours... Looks successful! :D

1st May
Early in the morning... wee hours... cry and cry and cry... Don't want to keep quiet even though I told him no more milk, no choice have to give plum lime water.

2nd May
Early in the morning too... wee hours again... same as last night... cry cry cry... No choice but to give the plum lime water again.

3rd May
Phew... Luckily this wee hours, he drank water and sleep. Good boy!

4th May -7th May
Oh my... Little Cavin is so GOOD boy! Every night before sleep, I will give full dose of milk then tell him, no more milk later, must drink water. Milk milk only will give when the sky is bright. So he drank water and sleep shortly after that... No more disturbance!

Hopefully he is can sleep throughout the night without waking up to drink any water. :D

The old lift has this emergency number to tell you to call if you are trap in the lift. GOOD!!!

Now...

Even this lift is new... It is not safe... Being in operation for a few months only, it sadly... broke down more frequently than the old lift.

Furthermore, if any elderly or anyone was trapped in the lift, there is no number for them to call for help. And what those poor souls can do is only press the bell and wait for kind souls to call the emergency line for them... The only place that reflects the number is outside the lift. hai... better don't get trapped inside...

Memories of SGH

While papa is having his day-surgery at the eye centre, I can re-cap the memories of 3yrs plus ago....

The last time I came to SGH is on 22nd Aug 2006.... That was the day when ah ma discharge from hospital. Even she is going away, she will go from the house and not in the hospital.

Usually after the checkup is already lunch time, we will come to this kopitiam and have our lunch. Last time there is non-aircon area, but now... is all covered. The brown tiles were the newly added space that belongs to the non-aircon zone, where we usually sit.

That was the pharmacy, where ah ma's milk was bought. I will always get one carton back for her consumption.

Not much patients, last time can be crowded, maybe is still too early.

Besides it is the Clinic L, the place where we visit the dietitian on ah ma's daily diet.

Wow... this toilet is also new!!! Now only got male... where is the ladies toilet???

Going out to take shuttle bus to tour around the area. New area for shuttle waiting.

I will drop ah ma and maid here before I go and park the car at the opposite car park.

We will come here too, to check the heart.

Same, I will drop them off here and I go park the car.

Time flies... In a blink of an eye... almost coming to 4yrs that ah ma is in the heaven. :)

Little Cavin came to my side, I was in a sleepy daze, knowing that he was standing beside me, I opened my eyes and look at him, patted him then I sleep again. Seconds later, I realised that he is still standing beside me, I have no choice but to wake up and bring him to his bed. hehehehe... He wants me to make milk for him. hahahaha.... So funny loh... Usually is his papa whom make milk for him cos I will be sleeping like a dead log. But this early morning, he came to me. :)

Predicted another round of milk time at about 4am....

4+am,

Little Cavin came to me again... I can heard dear dear saying something to him about be careful. I am still in a daze. hehehehe.... He came to me again. So I have to wake up to make milk for him, carry him to the bed. Asked him if he wants milk? He nodded his head and off I go to make milk for him. :)

Lying besides him, patting him and telling him that I will be sleeping beside him for a while. He is such a dear boy!!!!

Little Cavin is enjoying himself

Just now ma called me. hahahahaha... I never thought of calling over to check cos I know he is in good hands and yet I received call from ma.

I heard a scream. hahahahaha.... Little cavin don't like the phone with sound, he finds it frightening? hehehehe... so he fight away by screaming to get away from the hp! hahahaha...

Today he had a fun day out at Thomson Plaza with his ye-ye and nai-nai. They brought him out for a walk but he don't want to stay in his pram and walk around the shopping mall. He saw the rock rock machine, went to it and tried to climb up. When he is on it, he kept pointing the coin slot. hahahahaha.... Nai-nai no choice but to dig out $1 for him to sit the ride. hahahahaha.... He ENJOYED it by driving the sterring wheel! hahahaha... So funny!

And he got a KFC treat from them too, whip potato. I think he loves it! :)

Today is the NT scan for down syndorm.

Last scan, bb is showing us his/her back. Can't see him/her from the side. So I read from forum, they say must talk to bb. Ok, I talk to bb yesterday night.

"bb, tmr papa and mama is going to see you. You must move and let doc see you ok?"

Ok, time to go in for scan! :)

wow... We can see bb, VERY ACTIVE leh... Been MOVING here and there like non-stop, cannot stop bb from moving, move till Doc Fong buay tahan! hahahahaha... Always tell us, this is hand, the fingers, this is hand, this is hand. hahahahaha.... I think Doc Fong fed up already, he says "You think I always want to show you the hands is it?" hahahaha.... No choice, got to go out and wait till he finishes the next patient then my turn again.

Oh... So long... For years I think we have stop visiting Sakae Sushi... Really after this round. Enough! hahahaha.... The food is really not for my standard.

I missed the fried salmon fin with juicy omega 3 flowing out... hahahaha.... or is it oil that flows out? hahahahaha.... I want to EAT!!!!

Ops... eat too fast, sushi only... Left only the residues... hahahaha....

Here comes my favourite! Total in all, we snapped up 3 plates of salmon kamaage.

But the 3rd plate, fails my expectation... The fin taste so dry... hai... I think enough for having sakae sushi... By the time we finishes our sushi before 7pm, there is only a few tables occupied. Not like before... the queue is LONG... I think they need to do something before they loses their share in the food industry! hahahaha... talk so much!!!

I was too weak... I need to lie down on lh's bed.

Yujia was going into her sarong, little caring cavin comes along giving yujia her tiny blue pillow. As instructed by san-yi, he patted her bum to make her sleep. So sweet of him!!! So caring actions.... :)

Yujia is ready to wake up, of course without sleeping, she just lie inside her sarong.

Here comes little caring cavin....

San-yi told him, yujia mei mei wants to wake up. He takes her tu-tu and pass to san-yi to hang on the sarong handle. Next he took the tiny pillow out to pass to san-yi. And lastly, removing all things is to carry yujia out. He pull her legs to make her come out. hahahaha.... Of course, san-yi is watching him. He has no energy to carry her out so san yi carry her out.

MMR fever

True enough! Nurse says one week later the fever might or might not start.... :( 8days later.... Yesterday, he feel slightly feverish but no fever. This early morning 4.30am... fever start to seep in slowly... 37.1ºC. He can't sleep well, always make sound here and there. With dear dear's sleepy shoulders, he slept soundly and well.

This morning, 7.40am, temp was 37.6ºC!!! Start loh!!! Start loh!!! Quick give medicine after milk!

Hope this fever will subside soon....
